My name is Maiya, and I am a professional chef with over 15 years of experience.
My culinary story began in childhood — at the age of five, I baked for the first time with my grandmother, and since then the kitchen has been my favorite place at home. Over time, this passion became my life’s work.
My journey in Switzerland started in 2020. Here I founded Maiias Kuche — a place where desserts and snacks are created with heart. I am inspired by the happy faces of people who enjoy what I make. This is why I do what I do.
I use only natural ingredients and strictly follow all hygiene standards — because great taste starts with quality. I love cuisines from around the world but am especially inspired to create something new based on classic and traditional recipes.
What sets me apart? I make the complicated simple — I create exquisite desserts and dishes that look impressive but are accessible and understandable to everyone. My goal is to delight not only with taste but also with ease of presentation.
Today, I prepare cakes, portioned desserts, bento cakes, apero boxes, and much more. I work in the Aarau, Rohr bei Olten, and Basel regions, offering delivery and pickup.
In the future, I plan to hold cooking masterclasses where I can teach you how to “simply master the complicated” and share all my experience.
